Drunk and Disorderly

James Small, a gipsy, was fined 10s, at Dartmouth for being drunk. He was apprehended at Fairfax-place. On being searched at the lock-up he was found to have £103 in his possession in notes and gold.

He would not go away when advised by the constable, and was locked up for his own protection.
