Drunkenness

Wednesday, 8th July 1874


Drunkenness - John Stanley, a gipsey, was charged by Police constable Sillence with being drunk in Forton road the previous evening, and, whilst so drunk, with using foul language and indecently behaving himself. The Rev. Mr. Tappley corroborated. Defendant was fined 14s, including costs; and, in default, fourteen days hard labour.
