Richard Stanley and William Orchards were charged with encamping on the highway, the former at Camp's Bridge, Shobrooke, the latter at Yeoford. P.C. Chamberlain proved the case against Stanley; P.C. Blackmore against Orchards. A fine of 20s was levied, including costs, or in default 14 days imprisonment.
Orchards paid. Stanley did not appear.
