At the Petty Sessions, Riley Beldom, a Gipsy horse dealer, and William Fletcher, a Gipsy tinker, were brought up in custody charged with stealing a mare, the property of Thomas Giles, at Woburn Sands, on the 12th of April.
It appeared there had been a 'chop', and some money outstanding between the parties. Beldom came to Gile's and took the horse away and galloped off with it, notwithstanding Giles offered to pay whatever was due.
Committed for trial.
