Gipsy Death

Saturday, 8th May 1841


April 22, at Forching's Cross, near Ipplepen, on the body of Benjamin Harrison, aged 39 years, an itinerant gipsy, who was taken violently ill and died in a tent by the hedge side, leaving a wife and five children. Verdict - Visitation of God.
