Romsey Fair, Ringwood

Monday, 29th August 1831


A gipsey, named Thomas Stanley, and a young man, calling himself John Adams, were apprehended at Romsey Fair, on a charge of robbing James Hayter, a person of Ringwood, whose pocket was picked of a 5l. Salisbury Note and some silver.

The prisoners have been remanded for further examination.
