Reward Warrant

Monday, 12th July 1802


Whereas William Stanley, a Gipsy, stands charged, together with Robert Cooper (who has been lately committed to Dorchester Castle), with stealing nine Asses and four Blind-halters, the property of Mr. William Miles, of Cranborne, and the said William Stanley has absconded.

Whoever will apprehend the said William Stanley, and lodge him in any of his Majesty's Gaols in this kingdom, shall receive a Reward of Five Guineas, to be paid by the Wimborne St. Giles Association, on application to Mr. T. G. Read, at Dorchester; or Mr. Park, at St. Gile's.

The said William Stanley is about 40 years of age, upwards of six feet high, with black hair, and has a cut in his left thumb.
