Last Wednesday the assizes ended for this town and county, before Lord Chief Justice De Grey, and Mr. Justice Willes,

Francis Hearn, one of the people called Gypsies, for cutting off his wife's ear, and attempting to serve a boy and girl the same, was ordered a month's imprisonment, and to pay a fine of 1s.
