Additional Note - Wednesday 13th July, 2016 - Admin

While the FindMyPast transcription states the surname to be 'Higgs' (Hicks having been added here purely for search purposes), having not seen the original paper record, I believe this to either be an error in transcription or the name was possibly misheard at the time of the baptism. I believe the surname to actually be 'Hicks' due to the fact the same parents appear to baptise a child - 'Crisiah Hicks' - in Ringwood, Hampshire on the 4th of November 1821.
