Additional Note - Sunday 29th May, 2016 - Admin

The original record makes no mention of the surname 'Hicks' (it's been added to this record for search purposes), but I believe the parents to be Peter Hicks & Elizabeth Cooper, who marry on the 24th December 1828, in Bedminster, Bristol, UK.
As they were not married at the time of this baptism, the Church were more likely to use the surname of the mother (Cooper) in naming the child.
Baptised the same day as Matthew Stanley, son of Joshua & Rhoda Stanley.
